Paratene^® S1 Non-Toxic Silicate Dissolver

Paratene S1 is a blend of chelating agents and surfactants designed to be added to Caustic Solutions to aid in the dissolving of crystalline and amorphous silica deposits from steam and water treatment systems.

Paratene S1 reacts directly with the Silica dissolving it, and tying up the metal ions, preventing redeposition. The product reacts even in the presence of divalent cations such as calcium and magnesium that block the use of Hydrogen Fluoride.
