Paratene™ S700 Elemental Sulphur Solvent

Paratene™ Paratene™ S700 is a blend of solvents, chelants and surfactants designed to dissolve and disperse elemental sulphur. Paratene™ S700 converts elemental sulphur into water soluble salts that will not re-precipitate. The wetting agent aids with the rate of sulphur removal and also permits the removal of any hydrocarbon that may have co-deposited with the sulphur.

Methods of Application

Paratene™ S700 is added to the packer fluid liquids at a rate of 5 – 20 liters per cubic meter of liquid. It should be circulated or mixed thoroughly to ensure complete distribution of the inhibitor in the fluid.

Safety & Handling

Paratene™ S700 contains potassium hydroxide and is very corrosive to eyes and skin. Proper protective equipment and eye protection must be worn when handling the product.
